A key
strategy for successful implementation of the President’s initiative
is to strengthen the Primary Care Associations through coordination
and sharing of the necessary expertise to increase health access and
reduce health disparities. Thus, the benefit of this multi state initiative
is to maximize limited resources, and share those resources to improve
general health status and the safety net of health services within
the respective States. Members include the Executive Directors from
each of the following Primary Care Associations; Illinois Primary Health
Care Association, Indiana Primary Health Care Association, Iowa-Nebraska
Primary Care Association, Kansas Primary Care Association, Michigan
Primary Care Association, Minnesota Primary Care Association, Missouri
Primary Care Association, Ohio Primary Care Association, and Wisconsin
Primary Health Care Association.
